This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies — local storage, pixels, tags and scripts — used on consiva.ai.
Cookies used within the Consiva platform by our customers on their own websites are configured by those customers. This policy covers our website only.
Small files placed on your device by a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and — depending on the cookie — allow the site owner or a third party to build a picture of your activity.
First-party cookies are set by consiva.ai. Third-party cookies are set by another domain and are visible to that third party.
Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period.
Strictly necessary — required for the site or platform to function: authentication, session management, security, load balancing and recording your cookie preferences. These are not optional, because without them the service does not work. We do not ask for consent to these, and we keep the category genuinely minimal rather than using it as a convenient label.
Functional — remember preferences such as language or interface choices. Optional.
Analytics — help us understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck. Optional.
Advertising and marketing — used to measure campaigns or deliver relevant advertising, and may involve sharing with third parties. Optional.
We keep this table current with what actually runs on the site. If you'd like to verify it for yourself at any time, most browsers let you inspect the cookies set on a page directly from developer tools.

We also use local storage (not a cookie) to remember your light/dark display preference on this site. It holds no personal data and is not shared with anyone.
5.1 Our consent banner. We run our own Consiva banner on this site — the same product we sell. It lets you accept all, reject all non-essential, or choose by category. We are still completing the work to make our own analytics tag load only after that choice is made rather than alongside it; until that's done, treat clause 4's cookie table as accurate for what's set, not yet as proof that every non-essential cookie there waits for your consent first.
5.2 Browser controls. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies, including our analytics cookie. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site working.
5.3 Opting out of analytics. You can write to privacy@consiva.ai at any time to have your visits excluded from our analytics, or use your browser's cookie controls to block _ga cookies directly.
5.4 Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. We do not currently detect or act on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control browser signals. We are saying so plainly rather than leaving the question open.
Where a third party sets a cookie through our site, that party processes the data for its own purposes as well as ours, under its own privacy policy. Named third parties and links to their policies will be listed in the table at section 4 once the scan is complete.
Cookie data may constitute personal data. Our handling of it, including retention and your rights, is described in the Privacy Policy and the rights process at Privacy Rights & Grievance.
The DPDP Act does not contain a cookie-specific provision. It regulates processing of digital personal data generally, and its consent and notice requirements for such processing come into force in phases under notifications issued by the Government of India. We keep this policy current with the law as it stands from time to time.
We update this policy whenever the cookies or similar technologies used on this site change, and review it periodically regardless.
